Follow this guide carefully — proper aftercare is the single biggest factor in how your tattoo settles and ages. If you're ever unsure, message me directly.

Wash 2–3 times a day for the first week using clean hands and fragrance-free soap. Avoid soaking, scrubbing or letting the shower run directly over the tattoo.
From day 2, apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free moisturiser (Bepanthen, Hustle Butter or similar) 2–3 times a day. The tattoo should look hydrated, never wet or greasy.
Days 1–3 the tattoo may weep plasma. Days 4–7 it forms a light scab and begins to peel. Days 8–14 peeling continues — never pick. By week 4 the top layer is healed; full healing takes up to 12 weeks.
No swimming pools, baths, hot tubs or open water for 3 weeks. No direct sunlight or sunbeds for 4 weeks. No tight clothing rubbing the area. No gym, sweat or sauna for at least 7 days.
Rare with proper aftercare. Watch for spreading redness beyond the tattoo, hot skin, pus, fever or excessive swelling after day 3. Contact a GP and message me immediately if any of these occur.
Always apply SPF 50 once fully healed — UV is the single biggest factor in tattoo fading. Keep skin hydrated. A free touch-up is offered within 12 weeks if any areas need refining.
